As a fiction editor, I partner with romance, fantasy, and sci-fi authors to transform their novels into an immersive experience for the reader. Words have always been my passion. As a young child, I devoured books and filled notebooks with my own creations. I followed that passion by earning a B.A. in Mandarin Chinese and Spanish at a writing-intensive college where I honed my skills in language, structure, and storytelling.

But before editing full-time, I built my career in IT, translating complex technological concepts into “plain old English” for diverse audiences. I leapt at opportunities to develop clear and detailed documentation, training materials, and communications; and I always volunteered to provide feedback and final edits for my colleagues. My love for fiction called me back, and after editing several novels on the side, I transitioned from IT work into full-time freelance editing.
